I used Prismacolor markers to colour my image (#11-Deco Peach, #23-Cream, #70-Sand, #71-Buff, #95-Light Tan, #133-Deco Pink, #134-Deco Blue, & #202 Sky Blue Light). I stamped the image on Prism paper and used Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The DP is Daisy Doodles by Doodlebug and the cardstock is from Bazzil Papers. The "Happy Mother's Day" stamp is from Inkadinkado and the inside sentiment is from High Hopes. I also used Prima flowers and dew drops to embellish.
You may ask...where did she heat emboss...well...I don't know if you can tell or not from the picture but the sentiment on the front is heat embossed as well as the pocket on mama's dress and the hair ribbons on mama and baby girl bunny. The pockets and ribbons are also raised somewhat with silicon and I added a second ribbon to the little girl bunny's outside ear. The inside sentiment is also heat embossed. If you look closely I also watermarked the "Busy Momma" image on inside of the card where I plan to write my greetings.
Thanks for stopping by to take a look & to all you busy mommas out there--Happy Mother's Day!!! May your day be blessed with sunshine and time well spent with those you love!
Blessings,
Sarah
Sarah! I love what you did with Busy Momma! Your coloring is just beautiful, and I love how you left all the highlights! I really love how you cut out and added a second ribbon and popped up all the "hare" bows! lol Wonderfully laid out as well!
ReplyDeleteYes, heat embossing doesn't show up easily in photographs, and neither does sparkle for that matter. Thanks for playing the challenge!
And, thanks for stopping by my blog again, I always love it when I see your funny cats, knowing you came by and left me a blessing!! xo
PS I just read through your quotes and wow, I love the one by Howard Thurman. I have believed that for the longest time but didn't know how to express it so clearly and with so few words! I wanna snag that one for my blog too, if that's all right. That's wonderful!
Very nice shading, good color choices
ReplyDeleteAdorable card, Sarah.
ReplyDeleteI just love how you colored her, great shading. I'm sure your Mom will love it!!
